Adjust the bot strength to your level! - ![bot]() **bot****Easy****Medium****Hard** ## **How to play** Doppelkopf is the German trick game for four with a double deck. Two play against two, but who is with whom only shows during the hand. 1. **1**### **Re and Kontra** **The two queens of clubs play together.** Whoever holds a queen of clubs is Re, the other two are Kontra. Nobody knows the partner at first: playing a queen of clubs or announcing shows it. 2. **2**### **The trumps** **Ten of hearts, queens, jacks, diamonds.** The tens of hearts are the highest trumps, then the queens and jacks (clubs, spades, hearts, diamonds) and the remaining diamonds. Of two equal cards the first one played wins. 3. **3**### **Follow suit** **Play the suit that was led, trump counts as a suit.** If you can't follow, you may trump or throw off any card. The highest trump wins, without a trump the highest card of the suit. 4. **4**### **Counting** **Re needs more than 120 of the 240 points.** Ace 11, ten 10, king 4, queen 3, jack 2, nine 0. Kontra wins already with 120 points. 5. **5**### **Wedding** **Both queens of clubs? Announce a wedding.** The first other player to win one of the first 3 tricks becomes your partner, otherwise you play alone. If you say healthy instead, you play a silent solo. 6. **6**### **Solos** **Play alone against three.** In a queens, jacks or suit solo you choose the trumps, in an aces solo there are none. The soloist leads and wins or loses 3 times. 7. **7**### **Announcements** **Re or Kontra raises the stake.** Until your second card you may say Re or Kontra, one card later each also no 90, no 60, no 30 and black. Every announcement is worth extra points, but has to be reached. 8. **8**### **Special points** **Fox, Charlie and Doppelkopf.** Catching an ace of diamonds of the opponents, winning the last trick with the jack of clubs and a trick with 40 points earn one point each. Not in solos. 9. **9**### **The score** **The most points after the last hand win.** The winners get one point plus one for each under 90, 60 and 30 and for every announcement.
